Where else will you get expert tuition from £3.50 per hour in today's world?
Government funding has been cut over the last few years for "pleasure and leisure" courses but we still maintain that our fees are very competitive with other local providers.
The cost of each course normally indicates the price per term if the course length is longer than 10 weeks.
Some courses may be payable in instalments, see individual course fees for details.
Fee remission is available for those in receipt of means tested state benefits and their unwaged dependents.
These include:Please note that senior citizens and disabled students will only qualify for reduced fees if they also fall into one of the above categories. Students in receipt of means tested state benefits attending a course funded by the Learning and Skills Council will be eligible to pay the reduced rate stated for some courses. Please make sure that you have proof of any benefit awarded at enrolment and subsequently each term.
Hardship FundPlease contact the Community Office in complete confidence if you have difficulty in paying the course fee. It may be possible to make other suitable arrangements. We have a small fund in case of hardship that may be used to enable you to access a course that you might otherwise not be able to attend. All cases will be dealt with on an individual basis.
